MecanArt is a simple but very good free typing games for your computer, which is available at no cost. The first time you run MecanArt, you will be prompted to choose from a selection of languages, and then click "start". Once this is complete, the program will open up and display several choices. You will then have to choose from one of the selections, and if you like, save your selected choice to your hard drive and then you are ready to go.
When I say "certainly" my goal is not to imply that you can become fluent in a foreign language, but it does help you with your elementary school reading skills, in my opinion. For example, if you are having some problems with Spanish, this software application will provide you with some learning aids that can help you overcome these problems. Some examples of these learning aids are: verb lessons, audio lessons, interactive quizzes, songs (in different tones and styles), and reading exercises. This application can also be used on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Safari, Firefox, and on your web browser.
As you can see MecanArt is a great product that is available for free, and if you download the trial version, it will last for three months, or until you enter your payment information. After you have downloaded the software and start using it, you will be very happy you did. Although this is not a program that will make you fluent, it will help you with your elementary school reading skills. I think you will find this application is just what you were looking for, and even more importantly, you will be able to use this along with other teaching aids, such as MecanArt Flash, to help you improve your computer literacy skills.
